Substituting cast-ons

4/13/2015

Question: Can your patterns be started with an e-wrap cast on instead of crocheted cast on?
Answer: Yes, they can be. I use the crocheted cast on more often on hat, caps, and other head gear simply because it gives a more visually appealing edge. So if you feel more comfortable using the e-wrap cast on, then by all means do so. Just make sure to keep them all uniform in size and tension.
